What a blustery, chilly morning to end our first year of events as MT Adventures! Before we said “GO”, the wind took one of our BRAND NEW tents for a cartwheel down the field (suffered a small break) and toppled the Subaru Finish arch down, leaving runners with a good old fashioned line in the dirt kind of finish line.
At least our Little Eagles (we had 14!) were able to pass under the arch before it flew away.
We had 124 runners join us on the trail Sunday morning, and we are told there were 99 mugs of coffee poured in 45 minutes (a record for Winding Road Coffee Co.) after the run!
