YOU DID IT!
On Sunday, July 21 we sent 35 riders out onto some beautiful gravel loops starting in the heart of the village of Sharbot Lake. We created two 50 km loops; 15 riders went out on the south loop for the 50km ride, and 20 went out for the full century, completing both he south and north loops.
We used a new staging area this year, and we LOVED it, and can’t wait until next year to take over the Heritage Railway Park for the whole day (yep-we’re hoping to host the after-party right there….just a few hundred metres from the beach!)
Thank you to everyone who came out to ride, cheer and support the race this year. Special shout out to Frenchie’s Chip Truck for their amazing burgers and fries, the K&P Brewery for the use of their patio and nice cold post ride drinks. Special thank you to J&J Cycle for prizing, and to Frontenac Cycle for prizing, and putting in a whole team of racers!
