The seond ride in the series did not disappoint! The weather cooperated (we heard it rained alot back home) and the kids were treated to a fun, flowy ride on the trails at Batawa Ski Hill. We were excited to see some new young riders join us for the first time, we hope they will join us again at the next ride!
Thank you to our parent volunteers who rode sweep, coaching the younger ones along, and trying to not get lapped by the big kids! Shout out also to our support crew Molly and Wally, for scouting, marking and cleaning up the course, bringing us hot coffee and chocolate treats!
What a treat it was to have Doug’s Bikes on site to help with minor repairs pre-ride, his services were certainly appreciated as a few riders had some issues after the pre-ride! And the kids sure loved the prizes that they donated to the bib draw!
We hope to see you all on June 14th for the final ride hosted at MTB Kingston!
