Do I Have to Run?

While run might be in the name, we highly encourage everyone to come and enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful Spring blossoms! Walkers, striders, skippers…everyone welcome!

What Time does the Run Start?

10:00am! Both the 6km and 12km racers run together. A pre-race briefing will be held at 9:50am at the start line, all participants must be present. The kids Chickadee Run will start at 9:00am, with a briefing at 8:50 am at the start line.

What is the Racecourse?

At Little Cataraqui Creek there are a plethora of trails to make a scenic course for both the 6km and the 12km. Both distances will start together and the marked course will direct you where to go. Maps will be available 48 hours before the race in your racers package.

Are there aid stations on the course?

NO! Self -sufficiency is the name of the game with off-road events. Hydration packs, or vest, or hand held water and pocket snacks are your responsibility. And remember, LEAVE NO TRACE. If you pack it in, pack it out. Nothing is worse than seeing a gel pack littered on the trail! 

Where do I pick up my racekit?

The outdoor centre at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area, 1641 Perth Rd, Glenburnie ON.  Sensory Friendly pick up 8:00am – 8:15am, Regular pick up from 8:15am – 9:30am.

Is there food after?

A light lunch will be available at 11:00am, at the Outdoor Centre.

Is there an awards ceremony?

Yes! We have prizing for our top finishers in the, as well as bib draws for all participants. We would love to thank all of our sponsors for donating such great prizing! 

What about inclement weather?

Spring can bring all kinds of weather, watch for the forecast and plan your clothing accordingly. ! Little Cat Creek’s trails are high traffic in every season, pack snow and ice could still be present, updates will be given on trail conditions 48 hours prior to the race. MT Adventures reserves the right to alter, postpone or cancel the race if the weather poses a threat to life.
